Situation Vacant:

Applications are invited by Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office Lahore for the appointment/engagement of retired supervisory staff from the Mechanical Carriage & Wagon Department on a contract basis. The contract is for one year from suitable candidates retired at the age of 60, with a possible extension, subject to physical fitness.

1. TXR/GR-III
   • BPS: 14
   • No. of Vacancies: 2
   • Education: DAE/Mechanical
   • Experience: 20 years in rolling stock maintenance.
2. TXR/GR-II
   • BPS: 12
   • No. of Vacancies: 6
   • Education: DAE/Mechanical
   • Experience: 10 years of relevant experience.
3. SE-II/Sr. Chargeman
   • BPS: 12
   • No. of Vacancies: 8
   • Education: DAE/Mechanical
   • Experience: 10 years of relevant experience.
4. Mistry
   • BPS: 9
   • No. of Vacancies: 4
   • Education: Middle
   • Experience: 10 years of relevant experience.
5. Skilled C&W Fitter, Coach Builder & Welder
   • BPS: 6
   • No. of Vacancies: 16
   • Education: Middle
   • Experience: 10 years of relevant experience.

Terms and Conditions for Contract Appointment:

1. Only candidates with prior experience in the listed categories are eligible.
2. Selected candidates will receive salaries based on their last drawn pay, but will not be entitled to gratuity or pension.
3. The contract is for one year, with possible extension based on the needs of Pakistan Railways.
4. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any application without assigning a reason.
5. The number of positions may change without notice.
6. Selected candidates must pass a medical fitness examination conducted at Pakistan Railways Hospital.
7. Those retired on compulsory removal or medical grounds are not eligible.
8. Only shortlisted candidates will receive call letters.
9. No TA/DA will be provided for interviews or medical exams.
10. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere within the Railway System.

Required Documents:

Candidates must submit attested photocopies of:

• Educational certificates.
• Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
• Railway Retired Identity Card/Experience Certificate.
• Photocopy of PPO and LPC.
• Service Certificate.
• Three recent passport-size photos.
• Three postal envelopes with RAD cards and full address (linked with the application).
• Experience certificate from a recognized organization.
